From the visit to Lasem, I got one replica of Pangeran Diponegoro Shawl

As stated in Inger McCabe Elliot's book: BATIK fabled cloth of Java on Page 157, I found my self the replica of the shawl that was made in the 1900s. The one that I got has some improvements in the motive such as better form of the grass. I also took a look of the guest book of the producers there are some prominents people from some museums like from Britain visiting this home industry as well!
Note: Pangeran Diponegore was one of the princesses , a son from the Sultan Hamengku Buwono IV. King of Jogjakarta's Kingdom. He was one of the key person that fought against the occupation of Dutch (VOC) - (1825-1830 AD).
